شادی عادل است
روزی یکی از شاگردان شیوانا به نزدش رفت و از او پرسید :"
چرا با اینکه امکانات خوبی در زندگی دارم ولی ان لذت باید را نمیبرم؟"
خودم را با دیگران مقایسه میکنم میبینم اوضاعم از هر نظر خوب است ولی شادمانی ام نه ؟
شیوانا از او پرسید آیا شادی ات را وابسته به عامل یا عوامل بیرونی کرده ای یا نه میدانی شادی خلق شدنی و از درونت به بیرون می اید ؟
شاگرد که به موضوع اینگونه نگاه نکرده بود گفت خب معلوم است در مقایسه بودم مگر ما نباید از همدیگر یاد بگیریم ؟
شیوانا گفت:" بله ما با نگاه کردن به همدیگر ، یاد میگیریم ولی معیار ما برای سنجش شادی خودمان باید درونی باشد نه بیرونی !
چرا که شادی واقعی نیاز به معیار و سنجش ندارد به همین دلیل است که حس شادی دارا و ندار یکسان است چون کیفیت زندگی همیشه از کمیت بی نیاز است ـ
و این یعنی به واقع همه ی ما به دور از انچه بر ما اتفاق می افتد توانگریم ."
شاگرد که حالا دیگر نفس عمیقی از عمق جانش کشیده بود با لبخند از شیوانا تشکر کرد و به راه افتاد .

راست بگو و برایم نمان
روزی شیوانا در کنار یکی از شاگردانش که بشدت میگریست قرار گرفت و از او دلیل گریه و ناله اش را پرسید
شاگرد گفت متوجه شده ام که دلیل همه ی ناکامیهای زندگی ام خودم بوده ام سخنی در نهانم با خودم داشتم که بدون اینکه ان را به یاد بیاورم داشتم زندگی اش میکردم و ان این بود دروغ بگو ولی برایم بمان
از وقتی متوجه ی این کلام پنهانی خودم در خودم شده ام انگار سیاهی و تاریکی و دردی جانکاه تمام روح و جسم و روانم را در برگرفته است نمیدانم کی و چه وقت نجات پیدا میکنم ؟
شیوانا که در کنارش با عشق و آرامش گوش میداد گفت عزیزم تبریک و شادباش بر تو مبارکباد که پیروزی نزدیک است و نور اگاهی در وجودت تابیدن گرفته است تا وقتی نمیدیدی ان درد جانکاه بود و ادامه می یافت حالا که دیدی و صدایش را شنیدی
یعنی به پایان رسیده است
بلند شو و ارام بگیر که خورشید اگاهی در وجودت تابیدن گرفته است
خورشید پس از تاریکترین لحظه میدرخشد طلوعت بر صحنه ی هستی مبارک باد
شاگرد که متوجه شد با هر سختی آسانیست برای همه ی سختیها ،در دلش سپاسگزاری کرد و با ارامش از شیوانا قدردانی کرد.
